Timothée Chalamet Clowned By Twitter After Willy Wonka Look Is Revealed

Timothée Chalamet is certainly one of the rising stars in Hollywood right now, having made a name for himself in Call Me By Your Name and other films.

However, it seems his portrayal as Willy Wonka in an upcoming film hasn’t exactly gotten to the start Timothée Chalamet would have liked. The actor took to social media and uploaded his first look at him playing confectionary king Willy Wonka.

However, Chalamet was brutally trolled by many users on Twitter and Instagram, many of whom compared him to the character of Gonzo in “The Muppet Christmas Carol.”

Chalamet is currently filming in the UK filming ‘Wonka’ which will be about the origins of Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s book character. The first photo from the set shows Chalamet in costume as if he belonged in the Victorian era.
