Adult film star, Ron Jeremy, who appeared in 2,000 adult films throughout his career, is set to go to trial. The adult actor who was charged with over 20 counts of rape last year will be going to trial in February, as Rolling Stone reports.
In 2020, Jeremy pled ‘not guilty’ to all counts, he even stating on Twitter: “I can’t wait to prove my innocence in court! Thank you to everyone for all the support.” At the time, the bail was set at $6.6 million.
The charges have been coming at him since news broke, the numbers going up as news spread. Now, the charges come from victims ranging from women aged 15 to 54 years old.
All of the accusations that were made by the women and alleged victims seem to span all the way back to 2004, according to an article at The Guardian.
The Los Angeles authorities put out word for any victims still afraid to come forward to do so without hesitation. This was last year and others have indeed since come forward. If he gets convicted at the trial in February, he can be sent to jail for a whopping 250 years, or of course life in prison, which quite obviously comes to the same thing.
AVN (Adult Video News) once ranked him as the number 1 adult star out of the “50 Top Porn Stars of All Time.” Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy, was a documentary film based on his life. It was released in 2021. Ron Jeremy is 68 years old.
