Singer and family man, Usher and his girlfriend have welcomed a new baby boy. His girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea gave birth on September 29th.
He has three previous children. He has two with former wife Tameka Foster and a previous one—a daughter—with Goicoechea. He is also foster-father to Foster’s three children from previous relationships of hers, one of which, Kile Glover, passed away in 2012.
Goicoechea announced the pregnancy back in May perhaps a tad inadvertently. She showed off quite the baby bump when she accompanied her beau at the iHeart Radio Music Awards, letting the proverbial cat out of the bag, or perhaps we should say kitten.
It was via Instagram that Usher announced the happy news. In his post, his newborn son, Sire Castrello Raymond, seemed to address his fan base:
“Hi my name is Sire Castrello Raymond … I am the newest addition to the Raymond crew…I was born Sept 29 2021 at 6:42pm weighting 7lbs 13oz. Hear me roar … A.K.A Ra Ra Gang.”
He received tons of congratulations from many in the music industry. Messages from Snoop Dog and John Legend were included among many others.
His life has been racked with child custody battles over the years, he winning a pivotal one against the aforementioned Tameka Foster. Hopefully things will work out for this happy couple, though. Usher is 42 and Confessions 2 is set to be released this year, the follow-up to his 2004 hit album.
