Zendaya Gushes Over How Tom Holland Handles Spider-Man Performance

Multi-talented superstar Zendaya talked to InStyle recently about her relationship with Spider-Man star Tom Holland. The pair of 25-year-olds seem to be fully and completely in love, and Zendaya is clearly proud of her superhero beau.

The Emmy-winning Zendaya expressed her appretiation for Holland’s poise under a great deal of pressure. As Spider-Man, one would expect that the expectations on Holland were high.

“There are many things, obviously, that I appreciate. In an actor way, I appreciate that he really loves being Spider-Man. It’s a lot of pressure — you take on the role of a superhero wherever you go. To the little kid who walks by, you are Spider-Man. I think he handled that so well.”

Starring along with her partner, Zendaya played Mary Jane in the Holland-led Spider-Man movies. She gushed about his dedication to his craft.

“Our director allowed me to come in every day [of the shoot], and it was cool to see how he cares so much about his work and making it right,” she said. This exacting attention to detail is the kind of thing we hope to see translate into their relationship as it continues to blossom.

Zendaya’s perspective is right on the mark. As an actress herself, she appreciates the weight of such an iconic roll. She’s right to be proud of Tom!
