Earlier this month at the Legendz of the Streetz tour stop in Atlanta, Georgia, a melee broke out during Boosie’s performance on stage. Video from the event shared around social media shows an altercation breaking out on the stage.
A call came into the Atlanta Police Department at 12:41 AM reporting that Boosie and his partners destroyed items on the stage, many of which were the property of the production company. The police investigation is still ongoing.
TMZ reports that Boosie was arrested and placed in the Fulton County Jail sometime on Monday. On Tuesday, he posted bond and was released. Badazz, 38, is charged with disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and criminal damage to property.
The tour featured a cavalcade of legendary names from hip-hop. Joining Boosie on the tour were 2 Chainz, Lil Kim, Jeezy, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, and Fabolous.
After the incident, Boosie took to social media to claim self-defense. It appears as though it will be up to the courts to decide.
