It is common knowledge that Dwayne Johnson does not exactly get along with his Fast & Furious co-star Vin Diesel. However, the full extent of the rift still seems to be coming to light.
It has now come to light that Diesel’s behavior on set has been quite questionable. Furthermore, the Fast & Furious cast has expressed gratitude to Dwayne Johnson for calling out Diesel on his behavior.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Johnson got into the details of his feud with Diesel. The star said that he was not the only one who had problems with Diesel’s behavior.
It caused a firestorm. Yet interestingly enough…[it was] as if every single crew member found their way to me and either quietly thanked me or sent me a note.
Apparently, the fact that Diesel also happens to be a producer of the franchise has led to him developing a massive ego. This has manifested in Diesel being a bit of an egomaniac on the sets of the movies.
The other stars of the franchise have been quite about Diesel’s behavior. However, Johnson is one of the few actors with the star power to challenge Diesel’s ego. Let’s just hope that this leads to Diesel reflecting upon his actions!
