Owen Wilson could be up for an award eventually, but he’s not winning father of the year. The mother of his children claims that he has not seen their daughter since she was born three years ago.
Wilson’s ex, Varunie Vongsvirates, posted a photo of the couple’s three-year-old daughter recently. She does resemble her famous father, but Owen wouldn’t know that. While speaking to The Daily Mail, Vongsvirates made a shocking accusation. It is alleged that Owen Wilson has not laid eyes on their daughter, despite maintaining a relationship with their two older sons.
“He has never met her, unfortunately,” she told the outlet. His ex further alleged that she begged the Wedding Crashers star to be a part of their daughter’s life on several occasions, but the 52-year-old actor has “never” met her.
“He helps financially but it’s never been about that. Lyla needs a father. It’s ironic how [Owen] keeps getting these father roles, he’s playing a father in his new movie, and he’s never met his own daughter.”
This is an unfortunate situation and we’re hoping that Owen Wilson will have a real father/daughter moment soon enough. In other news, Dr. Dre still hasn’t chipped in to help his oldest daughter, despite the fact that she’s homeless and living out of a car.
