Jamie Foxx shared a hilarious fatherhood story on a recent television appearance. The comedian has been working on his body recently to play boxing legend Mike Tyson. He also isn’t afraid to call in a ringer when it comes to keeping an eye out for his daughter.
Foxx said that in addition to running a background check on his daughter’s boyfriend, Jamie recruited a famous rapper to help instill the fear of dad into him. The Django Unchained star said that when the boyfriend visited, Snoop happened to be hanging out and he took the opportunity.
“Snoop walked over to my daughter’s boyfriend and just said, ‘Hey what’s up? What’s up cuz. Hey, look here you know. We her uncles, you know what I’m saying? So act accordingly homie.’ He wanted to make it clear to the boyfriend that if he ever wronged Foxx’s daughter, he’d be getting a visit from Snoop Dogg.”
Foxx shared the funny tale during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He discussed other aspects of parenthood with the host during the appearance. The comedian was promoting his new memoir Act Like You Got Some Sense when the incident came up.
Jamie Foxx also showed his comedic chops in a sketch with Fallon where they acted like an R&B pair who never actually get to sing. After some seductive whispering over a track, things kept falling apart.
Jimmy Fallon has also been in the news recently. A controversial Tonight Show appearance by singer Madonna went viral. The tell-all by Jamie Foxx is set to release on October 19, complete with a book tour.
