Rapper Young Thug has filed a lawsuit against the luxury high-rise apartment building that he lives in, known as The Trace in Atlanta, Georgia. This all revolves around a very expensive bag.

Thugger claims The Trace’s concierge service lost his Louis Vuitton bag, which had contents valued at more than $1 million. Thug alleges that on November 1, 2020, he returned home from Los Angeles and accidentally left his leather Louis Vuitton bag next to his black Lamborghini in the parking garage of The Trace. Another resident reported the bag to to Lillie Bouie, an employee who works with The Trace’s concierge service.

The lawsuit alleges that Bouie acquired the bag and held it for Young Thug in a secure area of the complex, and made contact to let him know where the bag was located. Bouie also wrote a note and placed it on the bag, letting other employees know to not release the bag without contacting her first to ensure it went to the rightful owner.

The lawsuit further alleges that despite the care taken by Bouie, another employee named Latoya Guest entered the secure area and released Thugger’s bag to an unknown person. Guest allegedly never notified Bouie before releasing the bag. It is unknown who the bag was released to, and the property still has not been returned to Thug.

Thugger’s lawsuit states that the Louis Vuitton bag itself had a present day value of approximately $2,500. The suit listed the following contents of the bag:

* $40,000.00 in U.S. currency
* A diamond encrusted watch worth approximately $57,000.00
* A chain with inset diamonds worth approximately $37,000.00
* A hard drive containing approximately 200 unreleased Young Thug songs worth at least an estimated $1,000,000.00

Young Thug alleges that The Trace breached their duty to care for his bag, and now they must pay for it. He also alleges that The Trace failed to properly supervise their employees or have proper and adequate policies and procedures to protect him and other residents. He is suing The Trace for negligence and failure to train its employees.

Right now is a time for the Grammy Award winning Young Thug to be celebrating as he just released his “PUNK” album today. The 20-track album features features from Drake, Gunna, Post Malone, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Future, and others. Thugger has trended all day due to the new release, but now he’s making additional headlines for this latest legal hurdle.
