Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’ Smashes Spotify Streaming Record

Adele remains one of the most talented female singers in the music industry currently. She was back at the dating game for a while. This happened after she was granted an official divorce from her ex-husband, Simon Konecki. Now it seems she has smashed a recent record as well.

On October 15th, the singer dropped her first song since 2015, an emotional track titled, “Easy On Me.” Fans were immensely hyped for the track and for good reason too. According to Chart Data on Twitter, Adele has already started breaking records now that she has returned to the music world.

It was revealed that “Easy On Me” has already been played over 19.479 million times on Spotify. This makes the track “the biggest single-day stream count for any song in chart history.” It was also announced that Adele’s single had debuted at #1 on the global Apple Music singles chart.

To add to it all, the accompanying music video has received well over 52 million views in just one day. This is certainly a remarkable return for Adele as it is certain she is glad to be back in the music industry. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for her.
