Kevin Hart’s Ex Wife Won’t Give Up His Last Name

Kevin Hart is certainly one of the most well-known celebrities in Hollywood right now. His comedy skills remain loved by fans and peers alike. He also used to be married to Torrei Hart but it seems she keeps his last name for an interesting reason.

Torrei Hart has no intention of ever dropping her ex’s surname and has always defended her decision of keeping it. It seems she has a good reason for keeping it as well from the looks of it.

While speaking to TooFab, Torrei Hart revealed that she wants to keep her last name as it is hers. On top of that, Kevin Hart never asked for it back and has no intention of wanting it back either.

“‘Cause it’s mine, first of all. Second of all, ’cause Kevin never asked for it back — he don’t want [me] to give it back, he’s not trippin’.

“That’s something that people always ask me,” she continued, “and I’m like: That’s my name — get over it! They’re gonna always have something to say, but I’m gonna be a Hart until I decide not to be. And that’s just what it is.”

Torrei was married to Kevin Hart from 2003 until they filed for divorce in 2010, finalizing it the year after. They share two children, 16-year-old daughter Heaven, and son Hendrix, who turned 14 recently.
