This is not the first time that Michael Graves has caused trouble with his problematic behavior. The fighter was released by the UFC back in 2017 in the wake of accusations of domestic violence. Earlier in 2016, Graves was arrested for misdemeanor battery.
It seems that the fighter has not learnt from his past experiences, as news of more violent behavior has come to light. MMA journalist Amy Kaplan took to Twitter this weekend to share a series of messages sent by Graves, threatening violence against Kaplan.
It seems that Graves was upset with Kaplan for reporting on his family violence case. Not only did Graves threaten violence against Kaplan, he also seemed to not care about the consequences. Graves even went on a homophobic rant to mock Kaplan further.
U go show these messages to the fggs in the media department at the UFC or the chief of police. F*ck ur fggit *ss I see u
After Kaplan went public with the threats, Graves logged on to Twitter to share a series of tweets containing slurs, some of which seemed to be threats aimed at Kaplan. After tweeting out Kaplan’s name, Graves said that he was ready to get his hands dirty.
Kaplan has shared Graves’ threats in the following chilling thread.
