Drake’s Degrassi Role Credited For Making Lives Of Disabled Kids Cool

Drake is a veteran musician and that is exactly why younger rappers such as Kodak Black want him as a mentor. He also has a lot of interests outside of making music and that includes expanding his businesses. It seems his Degrassi role actually helped people.

“Degrassi: The Next Generation” aired on CTV two decades ago and launched Drake’s career. However, Drake almost quit the show after learning what happens to his character. Now is seems Drake should reconsider his hatred for the character.

While speaking to TMZ, Madeline Robinson, executive director of Wheelchair 4 Kids said that she hopes Drake knows his role as Jimmy Brooks on ‘Degrassi’ helped a lot of young people.

In fact, it even made them seem cool. He instilled confidence and made their lives better as well. Robinson said that Drake’s character brought much-needed representation.

She added that children in wheelchairs are often left out of things like getting invited to birthday parties or movies. So Drake’s role was very important for them to believe in themselves. Drake will certainly be glad to know how much his role ultimately helped so many children as well.
