Jackson Mahomes danced on late Sean Taylor’s memorial on Sunday, and fans were appalled by his actions. This was all for a TikTok video. Now he is in some serious heat from the internet.

The younger brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes tweeted out an apology for his brother’s actions. He also posted the TikTok video that caused such a stir. You can find that video below.

I want to sincerely apologize for accidentally being on the Sean Taylor #21 at FedEx Field. We were directed to stand in that area and I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family.

Taylor died in 2007 after being shot during a robbery attempt while he was at home in Florida. He was only 24-years-old. His death struck a lot of people in a big way and fans are still very sentimental about his passing. Obviously, Jackson Mahomes didn’t realize what kind of fire he was igniting when he did his little dance.

As you can see in the video below, Mahomes got inside the sectioned off area and did his dance. Now he is paying the consequences for that with the fan base.

This is not the first time that Mahomes received negative attention. He also dumped water on the head of a Ravens fan during an away game for the Chiefs. That happened in September, so we still have a bit of the season left to go for Mahomes to commit even more faux pas.
