Rapper Soulja Boy always seems to be mired in some controversy. This weekend, the rapper stirred the pot by coming after NBA YoungBoy, whom he had previously called one of his favorite all-time rappers. It seems that Soulja Boy has now grown cold on YoungBoy, calling the latter’s fans “gay AF.”
Shortly after Soulja Boy’s comments went online, a group of Houston goons went online to show off one of Soulja Boy’s plaques, that they claimed to have stolen from him.
While these YoungBoy fans seemed to think that they had hit Soulja Boy pretty hard, the rapper seemed completely unbothered. His response was quite straightforward, stating that every studio in the city has at least one of his platinum plaques.
Mocking the Houston goons, Soulja Boy commented on DJ Akademiks’ video saying, “U can find them at ur local studio,” and also challenged the goons to “step harder.”
It would seem that this is all an elaborate publicity stunt on Soulja Boy’s part, as the rapper has also been dissing Tyga and Famous Dex since he dropped his new track, “Squid Game.” The track itself contains several references to the recent hit series with the same name.
