The third MCU movie centered around Paul Rudd‘s Ant-Man, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” was announced back in 2019. While plot details have still not been revealed, the movie is expected to explore the concepts of the quantum realm and the multiverse, which is the direction the MCU has been moving towards.

While the movie was announced in 2019, filming only began earlier this year. This was likely a result of the COVID pandemic. Marvel had initially scheduled the movie for a February 2023 release. However, filming is only halfway done. As a result, the release date has been pushed to July 2023.

While eager fans are disheartened to hear this, the movie’s writer, Jeff Loveness has taken the news with humor. Loveness even shared a hilarious mock script on Twitter, with the caption “Not sure why you would push this but ok???”

If reports are to be believed, the movie’s actual script could be one of the MCU’s best. This has been implied by Evangeline Lilly, who plays the character of Hope. Fans of the franchise will have to wait a little longer to find out. Check out Loveness’ tweet below.
