The Flash movie starring Ezra Miller is one of the most highly anticipated films in the DCEU and it will also feature Ben Affleck’s Batman on top of that. That isn’t the biggest addition to the film as Michael Keaton will also make his return as the caped crusader. A first look at how Michael Keaton will portray Bruce Wayne was revealed back in June and fans are certainly excited.
Back in July, fans finally got to see Michael Keaton’s Batmobile and Batcave. The upcoming film will deal with various multiverses with The Flash. This ultimately left Michael Keaton utterly confused.
While speaking to Comicbook.com, The Flash producer, Barbara Muschietti stated that both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton had a great time reprising their roles as the Caped Crusader. It was also said that both actors were emotional about their return.
“Batman is a very dark character. I think once [actors] play the role, they are done. I think this was a bit of a surprise for both of them. It took them a while to warm up to the idea of reprising, of playing this character again, especially Keaton. Keaton had not been Batman for 30 years…[it was] amazing to see that both of them, both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, got quite emotional at coming back once they were with us, and they got to put on the cowl and the cape. I think they both felt the small joy that comes with playing that character and had fun with it. It was a great experience.”
The Flash movie is slated to release on November 4, 2022, We will have to see how it turns out to be and how Michael Keaton will perform in his role of Batman. With over a year to go until its release, we wonder just how polished the film will turn out to be.
