YoungBoy Never Broke Again was involved in a fight while serving time in jail. A new report by The Advocate that came on the tail of the Louisiana rapper’s legal team trying to spring YoungBoy from jail.
The petition from fans to President Joe Biden to have NBA Youngboy released from jail might not gain much traction. NBA’s team of legal experts might be able to do the trick.
A complicated plan drawn up by attorneys attempted to convince a federal judge that YoungBoy should be released on bond. He was charged with federal firearms violations in March.
The release plan includes the construction of a home recording studio. The 21-year-old rapper would also have to hire a security firm staffed by former soldiers to keep tabs on the grounds. Think of it as a luxury house arrest.
Chief U.S. District Judge Shelly Dick has yet to decide on whether to grant YoungBoy his release on bond. The judge previously said that the defendant’s inclination towards destructive behavior precluded him from release.
Prosecutors used a previously unknown jail fight to further their case to continue to detain YoungBoy. The fight occurred in the St. Martin Parish Jail amidst very high security. There are no further details on the fight.
YoungBoy’s continuing legal issues come mere days after fellow rapper Soulja Boy ripped him online. His music career continues to be extremely successful. He recently beat out Drake for the top spot on the Apple Music charts.
