There is no doubt that Cardi B is one of the most accomplished best female rappers in the Hip Hop world and her music has reached people all over the globe. She is also likely to hit back at anyone claiming that she got pregnant to promote a record. Now it seems Cardi B threw massive shade at Nicki Minaj.
As many fans know, Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty is certainly a controversial figure who has had trouble with the law in the past. That troubled past is still causing him problems. For those who don’t know, Kenneth Petty is due to stand trial on federal charges of failing to register as a sex offender when he moved from New York to California in 2019. The charges are from a 1995 incident when Petty and his victim were both 16.
Petty was convicted of one count of attempted rape in the first degree, assault in the second degree, unlawful imprisonment in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon. He also pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in 2006 and was released from prison in 2013 and would marry Nicki Minaj in 2019.
Cardi B and Nicki Minaj do not like each other at all, as the two have been at each other’s necks over the years. As reported earlier, Cardi B pleaded not guilty to the charges but is at the risk of going to prison for a maximum sentence of 4 years. Recently, she also decided to fire back at all the people mocking her for possibly going to jail.
On Twitter, a Nicki Minaj fan told her that she “better get the best lawyers out there cause yk damn well Offset ain’t gon be there” for their kids. Cardi B took to Twitter and seemingly threw huge shade at Nicki Minaj and her husband as she replied to the tweet.
“My man is allow to be with his kids so what’s your point ?”
Cardi B referenced the fact that Pett has had to work around California law to simply spend time with his children. We will have to wait and see if Nicki Minaj will respond to Cardi B’s apparent shade or not.
