The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne is conflicted between two very important aspects of her life. While keeping the shady dealings of her husband a secret, she wonders if she can provide enough details of her show to keep herself financially afloat.
Jayne was part of the season 11 of RHOBH, where the accusation against her husband’s shady deals were made. That led to a huge spike in the show’s popularity and she walked away with $600,000. Now that the show has returned for a season 12th, Jayne wonders if she can keep the details of that aspect of her life from being a part of the show. A source revealed to US Weekly:
Erika is nervous that her own words will be used against her in court, her talking about anything related to money and how much she knew about Tom’s [alleged] shady dealings. Erika’s lawyers instructed her to say as little as possible, but that wasn’t realistic for Erika because she’s filming a reality show about her life, she knew she had to open up.
The 50-year old actress has been surviving on far less money than she’s used to. The source explained how while she has to make more of her story available, she is seeking a bigger paycheck. They also debated her nervousness about the situation.
Erika is worried about her finances, she doesn’t have access to large sums of money anymore and her main income is RHOBH, which is far less than she’s used to having. Erika is worried about her words coming back to haunt her, but she has no choice, since she needs the income from the show
The Pretty Mess author has formerly denied knowing anything about the financial dealings of her husband. Her lawyer, Evan C. Borge, has denied the accusations that she is responsible for the $25 million in misused funds.
