Charles Barkley is a true legend in the world of professional basketball as an 11-time NBA All-Star, an 11-time member of the All-NBA Team and also the 1993 NBA Most Valuable Player. He is currently an analyst on Inside the NBA and has played against the best of the best the sport has to offer, including Michael Jordan.
Earlier this week, Kenny Smith stated that there is nothing anyone can do to force Kyrie Irving to get vaccinated. This is because the NBA All-Star is more than open to accepting the ramifications of his actions.
However, Charles Barkley didn’t agree with this notion. In fact, he went on to have a heated debate with Kenny Smith which made fans wonder whether the two have beef or not.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Charles Barkley made it clear that he has no beef whatsoever with Kenny Smith. He then doubled down on unvaccinated people getting the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
“Me and Kenny are great. We’re great. We can be different, it’s all good.
“They do have the right, but this is not about the right for you. You’re trying to take care of other people. You do have the right not to get vaccinated, but that’s selfish in my opinion. I wouldn’t want to get somebody sick.
Hey Listen, do the right thing, it’s plain and simple. We all have the right to make decisions. Like I said, it ain’t just about you. You’re not on this planet by yourself. We all got families, we’ve all got friends.”
It is good to see that there is no beef between Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith. On the other hand, Kyrie Irving will have to suffer the consequences of his controversial decision soon.
