After several years of harassment, torture and mental anguish, Britney Spears spoke out against her father’s conservatorship a couple of months ago. It was previously reported that Britney Spears doesn’t want to be scared to speak amid her conservatorship case. Now it seems Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears is facing a lot of embarrassment and feels disheartened after recent events.
As reported earlier, Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn had to change the name of her upcoming book after pressure from Britney Spears’ fans. Right after that, Britney Spears herself decided to throw shade at Jamie Lynn for good measure.
To make matters worse, Jamie Lynn Spears’ book sale donations were also rejected by a non-profit organization. According to Hollywood Life, Jamie Lynn Spears is “disheartened” that the charity organization rejected her donation amidst Britney Spears’ conservatorship drama.
“Jamie Lynn can’t believe that she was turned down to make a donation to a charitable cause. She worries about being rejected again so she’s not sure where to take things from here.”
It was said that the actress is “sad and disheartened” because “she was trying to make a small difference in the lives of those who suffer from mental health,”
”She was always philanthropic. This was a huge letdown for her.”
Jamie Lynn announced her renamed memoir Things I Should Have Said on October 11. The original title of the book was I Must Confess, a lyric from Britney’s breakthrough track Hit Me Baby One More Time. She also previously claimed that her family had been subjected to several death threats.
