Kash Doll Used To Be One Of The Highest Paid Dancers in Michigan

Rapper Kash Doll recently appeared on the “Renaissance Man” podcast. Host Jalen Rose talked to the rapper about her brief career as a dancer at a strip club in Detroit.

Kash Doll stated that the decision to give erotic dancing a shot was not an easy one to make. She only decided to go for it after her car was stolen, her house caught on fire, and she had to move back in with her mother. Even so, the rapper was still nervous.

I tried it my first day… I was shitting bricks.

However, Kash Doll’s doubts seemed to fade away after she made $700 during her first shift, which was “what [she made] in two weeks at Best Buy.” The rapper even claimed to be the highest paid dancer in Michigan at one point, claiming she once made $26,000 in one night.

I just got so popular to the point that I was on flyers every week and I didn’t dance on the floor like the regular dancers. … I was like the highest paid dancer in Michigan. And it’s been that way for a long time and nobody really did it again.

Compared to working retail, it definitely seems like Kash Doll chose the more lucrative option. She even claims to have made $250,000 in one year from dancing alone.
