On the October 19 episode of her podcast, “Baby Mamas No Drama,” “Teen Mom 2” alum, Kailyn Lowry raised some eyebrows when she announced her “financially-based life change.”
In a conversation with co-host Vee Rivera, Lowry expressed regret about missing the gym four times in the previous week, saying that now that she is approaching the age of 30, it is imperative for her to work out.
However, the desire to be fit is not simply Lowry aspiring to be healthy. In fact, Lowry’s motivation for fitness is to join the Air Force. This revelation left listeners understandably baffled, which is something Lowry herself realized.
I know people don’t believe me but I am trying to join the military so I have to hit certain goals. My birthday is in March, and I’m going to be 30, if I can hit all the milestones by 30, by my birthday, then I can get put in.
Co-host Rivera was surprised by the announcement as well, but Lowry was quick to explain herself, citing financial reasons. “I pay $1,800 per month for health insurance,” Lowry lamented to her co-host.
More specifically, Lowry wants to me an Aircraft Loadmaster. This is certainly an unexpected turn of events, especially considering that Lowry does not seem to be struggling financially in any way.
