Charles Barkley is a true legend in the world of professional basketball as an 11-time NBA All-Star, an 11-time member of the All-NBA Team and also the 1993 NBA Most Valuable Player. He is currently an analyst on Inside the NBA and has played against the best of the best the sport has to offer, including Michael Jordan.
Philadelphia 76ers’ Ben Simmons is certainly not having the best of times right now. Ben Simmons will miss the season opener for his team after being suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.
On top of that, it was also said that Ben Simmons has been fined $1.4 million for his behavior. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Charles Barkley stated that the Philadelphia 76ers should trade Ben Simmons. He added that Simmons is acting like a complete jerk.
“I’m disappointed. If he wasn’t gon’ play, he should have never came to training camp. You don’t come to work and then be a jerk. You don’t practice with a cell phone in your pocket!”
Ben Simmons also recently up his New Jersey house on sale for $5 million while still being suspended. While it is highly unlikely Ben Simmons will be traded from the Philadelphia 76ers anytime soon, we hope Simmons will keep himself out of trouble for his own good.
