DMX’s Estate Battle Intensifies As 15th Child Comes Forward

DMX tragically passed away on April 9th, 2021. He died due to a heart attack caused by a cocaine overdose. Shortly after his death, scammers jumped in and trying to capitalize on his death.

As far as his estate goes, there too, an alleged heir has appeared to claim the property. Now, another woman has come forwards claiming to be the child of DMX, bringing the total of his children to 15.

According to Page Six, a woman from Georgia named Raven Barmer-Simmons contacted DMX’s other children in the past few weeks. It is being reported that she and the other 14 children will do a DNA test to ensure the woman’s claim.

DMX’s fiancée Desiree Lindstrom had applied to the court to be legally declared his “common law wife.” This was shot down by a judge, however. DMX has 14 legally recognized children, according to the court filings.

This news comes after Judge Helen Blackwood gave temporary estate rights to DMX’s three sons Xavier, Tacoma and Sean Simmons.
