Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was one of the top players for the team. However, he made headlines for all the wrong reasons as he was arrested during Father’s Day weekend. Now it seems he is in trouble with the law yet again.
According to TMZ Sports, Frank Clark has been hit with another gun charge. This stemmed from his arrest back in June for driving around with an uzi in his car.
Frank Clark was “arrested for allegedly possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle.” Clark was released from the Los Angeles County Jail after paying a $35K bond. Alex Spiro, Clark’s lawyer, stated that the weapon in question wasn’t his client’s but “belonged to the bodyguard.”
Now it seems Frank Clark has been charged with one count of possession of an assault weapon this week.
Clark is due in court for a hearing on the matter on January 17, which will be one week after the Chiefs’ season is scheduled to end. We will keep you updated on this ongoing case.
