Kylie Jenner has once again landed herself in hot waters. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum recently posted an Instagram story, which led many on social media to accuse her of blackfishing.
Blackfishing is a term used when a white person uses darker makeup and spray tans to make themselves look black or racially ambiguous. Kylie was first accused of blackfishing after fans noticed lip fillers years ago – and it looks the the 24-year-old hasn’t learned anything from her earlier experience.
The Instagram story in question sees Kylie to Don Toliver’s song “Smoke.” Many fans were quick to notice the change in her skin’s complexion. The video broke the Internet on October 20. Buzzfeed later made a compilation of different tweets that called her out for her controversial behavior.
The youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister has yet to respond to the criticism on social media. While she has remained a figure of controversy for years, Kylie rarely responds to her naysayers and critics.
As of now, Kylie has multiple projects ranging from creative networks to cosmetic products to cloth lines. She is said to be one of the richest members of the Kardashian-Jenner family.
