Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is one of the all-time greats in the world of professional basketball. James suffered a very nasty injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March and despite making a return, James simply hasn’t been the same since the injury.
It seems LeBron James has now come to the aid of Dwayne Wade’s son. As many fans know, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are very close friends. LeBron even calls Dwyane’s son “Nephew.”
It was recently announced the G-League’s Salt Lake City Stars drafted Zaire Wade. However, the announcement was met with mixed reactions as many fans threw nepotism accusations. The Salt Lake City Stars are the G-League affiliate of the Utah Jazz. Utah Jazz are majorly owned by a business ownership group mainly run by Ryan Smith, Dwyane Wade’s close friend.
Wade bought an ownership stake in the Utah Jazz after joining this ownership group back in 2020. Due to this, players who did not make the cut in the draft and others pointed out nepotism. LeBron James took to his Instagram story and blasted all the nepotism accusers and also congratulated Zaire.
LeBron James also has his own problems to deal with after the Lakers lost to the Suns recently. We will have to wait and see if the Los Angeles Lakers will have a better time against the Phoenix Suns during their next game or not.
