Kodak Black is undeniably one of the most controversial rappers in the Hip-Hop world. Black is also a very outspoken rapper, and he is also known to do good things from time to time. He also wanted Drake to mentor him for some reason. It seems Kodak Black got a free pass recently as well.
As reported earlier, the rapper violated the terms of his supervised release in his federal gun case by failing a drug test. Due to this, he was ordered by a judge to enter into a treatment program for 90 days.
Kodak Black’s physician and treatment specialist previously requested the judge to allow Kodak Black to be given permission to receive treatment outside of Florida, for the rapper’s own benefit.
According to TMZ, Kodak Black’s failed drug tests tested positive for marijuana and ecstasy. Despite this, it seems the rapper wanted permission to take part in an upcoming event.
As revealed by court documentation, Kodak Black requested the court to allow him to attend the Rolling Loud NYC music fest this weekend, adding that it will be for business purposes only.
The judge signed off on it and gave him permission to perform at the festival as long as the rapper keeps in touch with his Supervised Release Officer. We will have to wait and see what will become of Kodak Black in the end.
