Conor McGregor fractured his ankle at the end of the first round of his UFC 264 fight against Dustin Poirier. Since then McGregor has been on a path of destruction that resulted in McGregor saying a lot of controversial remarks. Now it seems McGregor has buried the hatchet with an elderly man recently.
Conor McGregor previously made headlines at MTV’s Video Music Awards after he got involved in a scuffle with Machine Gun Kelly while Megan Fox was still with Kelly. Recently, Conor McGregor was accused of punching Francesco Facchinetti, a celebrity DJ in Rome and breaking his nose in the process.
This wasn’t the only incident he was a part of as well. Back in 2019, Conor McGregor was in the news after reportedly punching an elderly man inside the Marble Arch pub in Dublin.
McGregor was promoting his brand Proper No. 12 whiskey and offered a drink to the people in the pub. However, the 50-year-old refused the drink despite McGregor having offered it many times. This led to an altercation between the two and McGregor punched the man in the head.
Due to this McGregor was charged with assault and had to pay a fine. However, later he bought the pub for around $2.4 million and had the old man banned.
A fan took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of McGregor having a good time with the aforementioned old man. So it seems that two have finally resolved their differences.
Conor meets the old man in the bar again and they settled the beef, wholesome.
It is certainly great to see Conor McGregor ending his beef with someone for a change. We will have to wait and see what shape Conor McGregor will be in once he returns to the Octagon. McGregor is expected to be out of action for a long time as he is set on returning as soon as possible.
