Ex Barney Actor Has A Very Different Job Now

Selena Gomez is arguably the biggest star to emerge from the 90’s kid’s series Barney and Friends. The real star, though, was always the lovable purple dinosaur himself.

A report in The Mirror says that a 10-year veteran of the beloved purple suit is now working to help his clients become more intimate. He’s practicing as a tantric sex therapist.

David Joyner played the role of Barney for ten years. After leaving the series in 2021 to become a spiritual healer, he took on his most adult role yet.

Joyner says he has multiple clients who he calls “goddesses.” He unblocks their energy and says that he satisfies two to four women during a normal week at his new job.

Joyner’s practice is located in Los Angeles and his services don’t come cheap. He says his clients pay him almost $350 for a tantric massage session. The sessions last between three and four hours.

They say you should never meet your heroes. We have to wonder how many childhoods have been ruined now that we’ve met the post-Barney David Joyner.
