Kevin Hart’s friend is off the hook on some terrible charges and he is very happy about it. The comedian turned actor posted a short video on Tuesday to let everyone know just how glad this situation makes him.

Hart said that he was prohibited from speaking about certain things about his friend J.T. Jackson’s charges. Now Jackson has been cleared of all wrongdoing and Hart promptly dropped a video.

“I’m happy that that chapter in my life is over. I’m happy that we’re able to put a period on that sentence,” Hart said, Then the spoke about hos this time is for healing and moving on.

Kevin once believed that he tried to extort him with a sex tape in 2017. That video was allegedly recorded in a Las Vegas hotel room. Jackson was then hit with attempted extortion, attempted concealing and selling stolen property, unauthorized use of personal ID and identity theft charges.

To be fair, the first three charges were dropped in 2019 due to lack of evidence. That identity theft charge is now gone as well.

Now Jackson is cleared of those charges and Kevin Hart is very happy to see that his friend didn’t do it. They can put the whole mess behind them and move on. Obviously, Jackson is very happy about this situation as well.
