Michael Jordan lives in a pretty swanky neighborhood and he just got a new famous neighbor. Chance The Rapper is no stranger to big money. Chance has now stepped up his game and moved into new digs with an A-lister NBA GOAT next door.
The rapper and wife Kirsten purchased a five-bedroom house just outside of the Windy City, according to The Chicago Tribune. Just down the road in Highland Park lives another extremely famous person. NBA legend Michael Jordan owns a $15 million home there.
“Chance the Rapper and his wife, Kirsten, have laid down some deeper roots in north suburban Bannockburn, paying $2.3 million for a five-bedroom, 9,251-square-foot mansion.”
Chance paid $2.3 million for the gorgeous new home. The house was built in 1996 and includes a four-car garage, a pool, six fireplaces, a studio, home gym, movie theater, and six half bathrooms.
The owners before Chance paid $2.6 million for the home in 2004. It was previously listed as a rental with a monthly asking price of $10,500.
Jordan’s nearby home was used as the set for the Franchise music video by Travis Scott. Young Thug and M.I.A. joined Scott to film the clip back in 2020.
Chance The Rapper has spent huge bucks on Chicagoland real estate in the past. In 2018, he bought a $3.7 million three-bedroom home in the Streeterville neighborhood.
