Nicki Minaj Called As Great As Jay-Z

Nicki Minaj and gal pal BIA have developed a strong professional and personal bond since they hooked up for Whole Lotta Money. Now, BIA says that Nicki deserves the same respect as Jay-Z.

In an interview with Billboard, BIA talked about how much respect she believes her friend has earned. She says that Nicki Minaj helped to lay the foundation for the next generation of rappers.

“I always say to people, when you speak of Nicki, you got to speak on her like how you speak on Jay-Z and the greats that laid out the foundation for the people that’s after them. She broke amazing records and she’s made it easier for people like me to come through and do what we do. I’m always going to give her that credit and that respect because she helped me hit another milestone in my career.”

Nicki Minaj was the first female rapper to move over 100 million units in the United States. She’s also go two #1 albums under her belt. A collab with Nicki made BIA a star. Of course she’s going to defend Minaj.

While it’s debatable whether Nicki Minaj belongs on Hip-Hop’s Mount Rushmore with the likes of Jay-Z, time will tell. It is undeniable that Nicki has launched BIA into the stratosphere.

BIA recently released a deluxe edition of her 2020 release For Certain. Nicki Minaj hasn’t confirmed whether she’s working on new material, but fans have been waiting patiently for it.
