Olivia Rodrigo Reveals Unique Gift She Received From Joe Biden

Olivia Rodrigo has become a pop icon just at the age of 18 and her debut single Drivers License topped various charts around the world and gave her a breakthrough. Her accompanying singles and album also came out to critical acclaim. She got involved in a White House effort to promote COVID-19 vaccinations among young people back in July.

Olivia recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and discussed her trip to the White House where she met President Joe Biden. She described her experience in the White House and said it was really cool.

“White House is just the coolest place. I was so nervous to go. But I, like, walked in there, and there is like all these plates that like George Washington used to eat his dinner on. And all of this crazy stuff. I was like, scared I was going to sneeze and break a priceless artifact. It was crazy. But I walked out, didn’t break anything. Thank God.”

Jimmy asked her if President Biden gifted her something when she visited the official residence of the president of the United States. Olivia revealed that Biden gifted her a picture of the two posing for a picture with sunglasses. He also gave the pop star some M&Ms, and a shoehorn. She told Jimmy that she hadn’t noticed the gift before as it was wrapped in a bag. Jimmy couldn’t hold his laughter after hearing the story.

“Well, if you ever thought Joe Biden was too old to be president. Now we know he is, He is giving out shoehorns,” Jimmy joked regarding the President’s choice of gifts.

The M&Ms were a nice gesture, and they might have even had the White House logo on them. The shoehorn is a bit of a grandpa gift to give, but it was probably a very nice shoehorn.
