Cheryl Burke Discusses Future Dancing With The Stars Retirement

Cheryl Burke has been a staple of Dancing With the Stars since the second season. As she gets older, it gets harder for Cheryl to keep up. She’s not quite ready to call it quits, though.

In an interview with Heavy, Burke talked about how she might want to retire from DWTS. Among those scenarios would be a third Mirrorball trophy. Cheryl and her partners have not won the title since season three.

“Right?! There’s a part of me that wants that freakin’ third Mirrorball so bad! It’s been since 2007, for god’s sake!”

The show is in it’s 30th season. Burke says she doesn’t know a specific date for her retirement. She didn’t consider stepping away before the 30th season, though. She called it a milestone that she had to be a part of.

Cheryl has been busy when she’s not dancing, too. She recently released a line of loungewear called Vital that is focused on comfort and fashion as well as inclusivity. Maybe she’s got a big future in fashion after she leaves DWTS.

Cheryl is partnered with actor Cody Rigsby for season 30. They’re still alive at the moment. Keep chasing that third Mirrorball, Cheryl! It would be a perfect way to go out on top.
