Dave Chappelle Receives Offer To Educate Him On Transgender Community

The ongoing controversy surrounding Dave Chappelle‘s new comedy special seems to be showing no signs of dying down. Several people have come out against Chappelle’s outdated views. It seems that one voice is willing to offer the comedian an olive branch.

Transgender influencer, Nikita Dragun, spoke to TMZ at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills. In this conversation, Dragun expressed a desire to reach out to Chappelle and educate him on transgender issues.

Dragun believes that the controversy can only be resolved if both sides try to understand and communicate with each other. The influencer believes that this can only be achieved through education.

Dragun’s approach definitely seems a lot less threatening that some of the other response that Chappelle has garnered. Recently, LGBTQ+ members of the Netflix staff staged a walkout in protest of Chappelle’s comedy special “Closer.”

Chappelle himself has expressed a willingness to sit down and have a conversation with members of the transgender community and acknowledge their complaints. With Dragun wanting the same, it seems that this might finally come to pass.
