Jay-Z is regarded as one of the most legendary rappers in the Hip-Hop world. On top of his musical prowess, Hov is also a smart businessman and is worth over a billion dollars for good reason. He also realizes that people love to gamble.
It seems Jay-Z was involved in a very unfortunate accident of sorts recently. Brooklyn Nets co-owner Clara Wu Tsai became a little too excited at a huge play during Wednesday night, which resulted in her spilling Jay-Z’s drink.
It took place mere seconds before halftime of the Nets’ game against the Heat. At that time, Blake Griffin performed such a massive dunk that Wu Tsai was brought out of her seat.
As seen in videos, the team’s co-owner clapped, and then grabbed Jay-Z by his left arm to celebrate the dunk. Unfortunately, Jay’s drink was in that arm’s hand and if resulted in the drink spilling everywhere.
By pure luck, the drink didn’t spill onto Jay-Z’s pants. Even if it had spilt, Jay-Z wouldn’t have been angry as he and Wu Tsai are good friends, and are famously partners in REFORM – the organization the two helped develop in order to fight criminal injustice in America.
