The #FreeBritney movement has gained tremendous support from around the globe. Most recently, Prince Jackson, son of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has also come out in support of the pop star.
In an appearance on “Good Morning Britain” on Thursday, Prince made it clear that his father would have supported Britney wholeheartedly, and wanted her to maintain control over her own life.
That is a very tough question just because I don’t like to put words in my father’s mouth. But, knowing my father and the compassion that he had for individuals who wanted to remain in control of their own life – as it was his goal to be in control of his own life – I would think that he would be very supportive of her cause.
This will not come as much of a surprise to fans, since Britney and Michael not only collaborated with each other, but also happened to be good friends. The pop legends famously performed a rendition of “The Way You Make Me Feel” together at a concert in Madison Square Garden in 2001.
Britney also introduced MJ at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, calling him her idol and “the best guy in the world.” Britney also come out in defense of Michael during his infamous trial.
It sure is great to see the amount of love and support pouring in for Britney. Here’s hoping that she continues to thrive now that she has finally won back her freedom in her conservatorship case. Check out a clip of Prince’s interview below.
