The favorite hangout of the Jersey Shore crew is no more. The Bamboo Bar is currently being demolished to make way for a new condominium complex. The bar was located in Seaside Heights, NJ.
Crews were spotted by TMZ starting to tear the place apart early on the morning of October 29. From the video they posted, it appears a though the Bamboo Bar was a bit run down.
The notorious locale was the location of one of the most remembered scenes in the history of the MTV reality series. The Situation, Pauly D, Ronnie, and JWoww were involved in a huge brawl at the bar.
The show was a surprise mainstream success. It still gets the occasional reunion run. Cast member Snooki went on to wrestle for WWE. The wild crew went on to attempt various other endeavors with mixed success.
Jersey Shore originally ran from 2009 through 2002. A reunion was organized in 2017 by the E! Network. In 2018, a limited series called Jersey Shore: Family Vacation aired on MTV.
The show followed a group of rowdy youngsters as they dealt with (and created) drama all over the Jersey Shore. It became such a phenomenon that then New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said the show gave the citizens of New Jersey a bad name.
