Kyrie Irving is certainly one of the best basketball players in the NBA. The Brooklyn Nets star might also retire as well due to his refusal to adhere to the COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Due to his refusal to get vaccinated, Kyrie Irving could miss up to 45 games this season. It seems Irving decided to confuse fans with a cryptic post recently.
From the looks of it, Kyrie Irving couldn’t care less about missing out on the seasons as even his coach has accepted that fact. Irving was put on blast for it and heavily criticized by several people, including former NBA players such as Raja Bell.
Kyrie Irving also recently took it upon himself to shut down all retirement rumors. Even Chance the rapper seemingly agreed with Kyrie Irving’s anti-vaxx stance for some reason. He even got support from Floyd Mayweather of all people.
Irving took to his Instagram and uploaded a cryptic post, which comprised of a very minimalistic hourglass. It seems Irving seemingly hinted at making a return soon. Irving likes to keep people guessing so this post is nothing surprising.
Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks recently revealed that Kyrie Irving will not practice or play for the Brooklyn Nets until he is ready to be a full-time participant. It is unlikely Irving will get vaccinated anytime soon from the looks of it and that is not going to change. At least for Irving’s sake, he has some supporters, even if we can’t condone what he is doing.
