Alec Baldwin’s film Rust was already experiencing production problems. Then things went from bad to worse as a gun accidentally went off and the film’s cinematographer was killed. That nightmare is still ongoing for everyone involved.

Halyna Hutchins was fatally wounded on the set of Rust, a terrible tragedy that took a life and caused the entire production to shut down. Now that cowboy movie might never finish, and that could be for the best.

Baldwin’s wife Hilaria thinks that he could develop PTSD. The actor’s spouse revealed the reason behind their family’s trip to Vermont was to get away from everything surrounding Hutchins’ death

She spoke to the New York post on Sunday and said that she drove for “an entire day” before settling in Manchester, Vermont. Then Alec and the rest joined her after she successfully found a peaceful getaway.

“Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD,” she told the outlet. “You look at what happens to soldiers and police officers when something like this happens, it’s traumatic. We just came up here for quiet.”

She also said that Alec Baldwin is “hopeful but not certain” that he will ever act again. Hilaria then revealed that, “He needs space for me to take care of him and his mental health. It’s an awful thing that happened. Alec feels awful.”

This is a terrible situation and our thoughts go out to everyone involved. Hopefully, there will be healing, but it won’t take back the life that was tragically lost.

Being in tune with pop culture doesn't mean it has to make sense, but he tries. Favorite bands include any group from Seattle who formed between 1991 and 1999. 5 Ozzfests under his belt and 12 Warped Tours, but his last concert was a bluegrass AC/DC cover band that was not 100% terrible.
