UFC Referee Removed After Refusing To Stop UFC 267 Fight

UFC referees have a lot of responsibility and when one of them messes up it could be a life or death situation.

Vyacheslav Kiselev was officiating the fight in question. Referee Vyacheslav Kiselev refused to stop the fight despite pleas from commentators calling off the fight. Disheartened fans and commentators took to twitter to express their frustrations resulting in the referee’s removal from UFC 267.

Benoit Saint-Denis was getting beat down by Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos so hard that he retreated to the fence and covered up. The former Jungle Fight welterweight champion currently competes in welterweight division he beat Saint-Denis 29-26 from all three judges scorecards.

Saint-Denis, a newcomer, clearly suffered a brutal beatdown at the hands of Dos Santos including 149 significant strikes to 67, including 96 major blows on Saint-Denis’ head.
