Elon Musk Would Sell $6 Billion Of Tesla Stock To Solve World Hunger On One Condition

CEO of Tesla Motors and business tycoon Elon Musk certainly needs no introduction. A few months ago, NASA awarded Elon Musk’s SpaceX a lucrative contract to get astronauts to the moon by 2024. As reported earlier, Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin had a problem with this.

Last month. Tesla had to pay $137 million to one of its employees over alleged racism. While that is certainly an exorbitant amount of money to many, it seems that is nothing more than change for Elon Musk from the looks of it.

As reported earlier, Elon Mask is set to become the world’s first trillionaire. It was also said that Elon Musk earns around $25 billion a day. Elon Musk’s current net worth is $292.6 billion as well.

Last month, the director of the United Nations’ World Food Programme called on the world’s richest man to help solve the global hunger crisis. He also challenged Elon Musk to donate some of his wealth to solve world hunger.

Recently, Elon Musk took to Twitter and responded to the challenge. Musk claimed that he will donate $6 billion to solve the world hunger crisis. However, he will only do it on the condition that UN can provide evidence as to how it would use the funds to “solve world hunger.”

If WFP can describe on this Twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it.

Elon Musk far surpassed his rival Jeff Bezos back in September and hasn’t looked back ever since. We will have to wait and see if Elon Musk will actually end up donating $6 billion to help solve world hunger or not. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
