DaBaby’s name has been dragged through the mud after making a controversial and homophobic statement at Rolling Loud in Miami. DaBaby previously posted a half-hearted apology for his harmful and insensitive remarks as he took to Instagram, but then he would go on to delete the post.
Due to this, he was subject to even more backlash from fans, who simply had no interest in forgiving him. He still didn’t learn his lesson as he called his critics crybabies.
DaBaby was brought on stage by 50 Cent during the recent Rolling Loud event. According to TMZ, an LGBTQ organization feels DaBaby is fit to perform on stage again as he has learned a lot over the past few months.
The CEO for Relationship Unleashed, Gwendolyn D. Clemons stated that she and her organization can comfortably sign off on DB’s appearance at Rolling Loud NY last week and future concerts. This is because DaBaby is more knowledgeable when it comes to all the things he had said.
DaBaby met with them as well as other organizations that advocate for the LGBTQ community. It was said they have him a history lesson including how HIV/AIDS affects people in his native Charlotte, NC, which DaBaby seemed to have understood.
On the other hand, the organization has no intention of forgiving Dave Chappelle. This is because he has not shown any empathy or remorse for his controversial remarks. Relationship Unleashed thinks Dave’s words from ‘The Closer’ are hate speech disguised as comedy and he was gaslighting audiences into bigoted points of view.
This is despite the fact that Dave Chappelle used DaBaby’s predicament to make his own point. Regardless, it seems Dave Chappelle won’t be forgiven by anyone just yet from the looks of it.
