On the other hand, The Real Housewives series of reality shows remain one of the most popular and recognizable in the history of television. As reported earlier, the Bravo network announced it has given a series greenlight to The Real Housewives of Dubai.

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan will not be joining the cast of the upcoming “Real Housewives of Dubai.” This is despite the fact that she is already living in the country, and the Parent Trap actress would provide a lot of star power plus drama.

It was said that Lindsay Lohan was never even approached about the upcoming show. It was said that while the contestants haven’t been announced, they have already been selected. Lindsay Lohan is definitely not part of them.

The belief is that budget might be a factor as well. The network is trying to keep a tight budget and having Lohan in the show would cost more than hiring an unknown.

The series is set to air next year and will be the 11th city in the Real Housewives franchise. It remains to be seen whether the show will turn out to be a huge success like the other versions or not.
