Cardi B Is Down To Officiate Kal Penn’s Wedding

Kal Penn, star of the cult comedy Harold and Kumar films, recently came out when he announced that he is engaged to a man. The actor tweeted that rapper Cardi B came to him in a dream to officiate the wedding.

Penn shared a flight with Cardi but didn’t say hello. He then fell asleep on the plane and dreamed that Cardi served as the officiant for the ceremony. Cardi quickly responded to the notion via Twitter.

“First, why didn’t you say hi! Second, I’m licensed to do that sooo……..let me know.”

Kal said in a response that he didn’t bother Cardi because her “Do Not Disturb” light was on. He also enthusiastically supported the idea of being married by Cardi B. It sounds like this actually might happen.

“You’re the best. Was gonna say hi but didn’t want to be disrespectful (your do not disturb light was on). But holy sh*t let’s do it! We’re down if you’re down!”

Cardi B is a well-known supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s awesome to see two celebrities coming together instead of pointlessly fighting. Hopefully this really goes down. Either way, congratulations to Kal Penn and Josh!
