Aaron Rodgers Is Playing The Victim In His Vaccination Controversy

Aaron Rodgers has responded to reports that he is unvaccinated. As expected, the Green Bay Packers quarterback is irate. Pro Football Talk has reported on Rodgers’ remarks. They serve to paint the QB as a victim.

Rodgers is making himself out to be a martyr after hurting his team and endangering his teammates and the public by being intentionally misleading about his COVD-19 vaccination status. He says that woke PC culture is the reason people are criticizing him.

“I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now, so before the final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I’d like to set the record straight on some of the blatant lies that are out there about me now.”

Rodgers didn’t specify which lies were told to him. He described his response as a “diatribe” and called the situation a league-wide witch hunt. The unvaccinated quarterback will have to sit out Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs after he tested positive for COVD-19.

Rodgers claims to have an obscure allergy to one of the ingredients in the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, so he sought alternative treatments after catching the virus. Even if that were the case, he shouldn’t have been going out in public without a mask knowing that he was unvaccinated. The lies didn’t help his cause, either.

Like it or not, the league and public COVID policies are here to stay for NFL players. Rodgers is going to have to bite the bullet on this one, or he may find himself facing fines or suspensions. We’ll have more on this situation as it develops.
