Bobby Shmurda just released “Cartier Lens” a week ago. Now, the Brooklyn rapper has treated fans to another new cut. “Splash” is Shmurda’s second single in a week. Fans responding to his announcement on Instagram were not very kind in their opinions.
Shmurda posted a 19 second clip of the track on Instagram, with the full song available on YouTube. A major complaint is that fans can’t understand a word Bobby is saying in the song. They were not shy in letting him know about it.
“We waited 7 years for this? You rapping in tongue now??”
Bobby Shmurda is currently under community supervision until February 2026. That hasn’t stopped him from making live appearances. He’s performed at Meek Mill’s Expensive Pain show at Madison Square Garden, Rolling Loud New York, and the Made in America festival in Philadelphia.
The tracks are a part of Bobby’s new full length album, which was nearly completed back in October. Fans are looking forward to it dropping. It’s been a while since he’s released any new music.
Shmurda was incarcerated on Rikers Island after pleading guilty to conspiracy and weapons possession in 2016 until his parole in February of this year. He is under strict supervision while out in the community by order of his parole.
